• ECM’s Mechanika Slim PID is a compact heat exchanger espresso machine whose narrow build belies the sizable 1.9L stainless steel boiler housed within.
• As its name suggests, boiler temperature is controlled by a PID switch that can be used to select between one of three preset temperatures.
• In spite of its size, the Mechanika Slim PID is a heat exchanger espresso machine and is fully capable of brewing espresso and frothing milk simultaneously.
• The PID switch plays a part both in temperature regulation and selection and is used to enable other functions such as eco mode and pre-infusion.
• The three positions correspond to 248°F, 255°F and 262°F and allow users to quickly boost boiler temperature when in need of some extra steam power.
